Just in case you missed it, season five of The Big Bang Theory takes off following a drunken night together between cynical and sarcastic PENNY (Kaley Cuoco) and shy astrophysicist RAJESH "RAJ" KOOTHRAPPALI (Kunal Nayyar) and the news that Raj's sister and Leonard's girlfriend PRIYA KOOTHRAPPALI (Aarti Mann) would be moving back to India.
Actress Kaley Cuoco returns as Penny, who continues to struggle with her feelings for Leonard while she deals with the aftermath of her night with Raj, alongside Emmy Award-winning actor Jim Parsons, who plays the brilliant but often exasperating theoretical physicist SHELDON COOPER as he continues to pursue his unconventional relationship with equally intelligent and socially inept neurobiologist AMY FARRAH FOWLER (Mayim Bialik).
Emmy Award-nominated actor Johnny Galecki also returns as LEONARD HOFSTADTER, who attempts to maintain a long-distance relationship with Priya, while sweet and soft-spoken BERNADETTE ROSTENKOWSKI prepares to embark on the next step of her relationship with self-declared ladies man HOWARD WOLOWITZ (Simon Helberg) whose mother seems to come with him as a package deal.
