In case you're out of the loop, it is now the fourth season of the series. CBI consultant PATRICK JANE (Simon Baker) returns this season behind bars after shooting a man who may or may not have been the notorious Red John serial killer and must prove that the man he killed was indeed him.

Unfortunately, his actions have not only landed him in trouble, but the CBI team as well. CBI senior agent TERESA LISBON (Robin Tunney) begins this season under suspension and the rest of her team, stoic, reserved KIMBALL CHO (Tim Kang), easy-going WAYNE RIGSBY (Owain Yeoman), and ambitious GRACE VAN PELT (Amanda Righetti) have all been reassigned following Jane's crime.
